Belimo rethinks fulfillment within a limited footprint Belimo, global market leader for energy-efficient control of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems, had reached the limits of its manual warehouse in Shanghai in both storage capacity and performance, putting pressure on future growth and service reliability. Together with TGW Logistics, the company implemented a highly automated fulfillment center built around a mini-load warehouse with more than 11,000 double-deep storage locations. The solution maximizes the use of limited space while significantly increasing throughput and reducing operating costs.
