What does it take to keep a manufacturing site running when energy prices swing, CO₂ targets tighten, and every unplanned stop costs money? Operations teams need energy decisions that are fast, data based, and reliable. That’s why tesa developed #EnergyIntelligence together with our partner ifesca GmbH, a modular AI platform that connects production needs, on-site energy infrastructure, and external energy markets. The platform supports three core capabilities: ➡️ Global monitoring and forecasting for energy and emissions KPIs ➡️ AI-optimized day-ahead and intraday orchestration of flexible assets (Germany) ➡️ Simulation and procurement: deriving optimal strategies from residual demand (coming soon) The impact is measurable: 6,800 t CO₂ saved in 2025, with a potential of 38,000 t CO₂ by 2030 across German sites. 🏆This work has been recognized with the #MicrosoftIntelligentManufacturingAward in #Sustainability, presented by Microsoft Germany and Roland Berger. Highlighting how digitalizing can drive more sustainable manufacturing. #MIMA #WeDo #Sustainability #Digitalization
