🇸🇪 Today, together with OX2 and Södra, we are proud to announce an important step forward for the Värö e-NG in Sweden, which is now entering the Pre-FEED phase. This project can materially support Sweden’s energy transition, economy, energy security, and resilience. The planned facility aims to produce 1.2 TWh of e-NG (electric natural gas) annually by combining biogenic CO₂ from Södra’s pulp mill with renewable hydrogen produced onsite. The Värö e-NG project reflects the kind of industrial partnership needed to scale fossil-free gas production in Europe: leveraging local resources, strengthening energy security, and helping industry move away from fossil natural gas.
