Congratulations, Keck Medicine of USC! 🎉 Terumo Aortic is delighted to celebrate an incredible milestone, with Keck Medicine of USC surpassing 250 patients treated using the Thoraflex™ Hybrid device. The 250th implant was performed by Dr Fernando Fleischman and Dr Craig Baker to treat a previous ascending aorta repair with a redo for chronic dissection. One day following this implant, Dr Serge Kobsa successfully treated an additional patient with an acute type A dissection! This encouraging achievement highlights Terumo Aortic and our partners' dedication to conforming arch surgery to the Gold Standard. By addressing the complexities of open arch procedures and leveraging cutting-edge, “off the shelf” solutions, we continue to drive innovation in patient care.
