💪 From Ironman to Bionic Man, we’re proud to share the latest story in our Patient Journeys series, featuring Martin Hilton. A dedicated athlete, Martin had completed an Ironman triathlon just months before experiencing a sudden and unexpected aortic dissection. What followed was life saving surgery with our Gelweave ™ Ante-Flo ™ graft. Today, Martin refers to himself as the Bionic Man and has returned to an active lifestyle, even taking on a 630-mile coastal walking challenge to raise over £8,000 for the Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust. When Martin visited our Glasgow facility, he had the opportunity to meet the Associates who helped create the graft that saved his life.
