Ask any AI engineer what they'd go back and learn in school, and 9/10 will say: "Math." "But you don't need a PhD in math to build cool AI agents!" True, but understanding the math is knowing the rules of the game. Linear algebra? Powers your neural nets. Gradients? Make your model learn. Probability? Helps you manage the unknown. Skip the math, and you're building castles on sand. Learn just enough, and your AI goes from a black box to your playground.
