Cricket participation in the United States is growing, and the infrastructure is catching up. The Knight Riders Cricket Ground at Fairplex in Pomona, California, opened in time for the 2026 Major League Cricket season. Built by The LandTek Group, a TenCate company, the venue was designed around how professional cricket venues are actually used — a natural grass square engineered for match play, surrounded by TenCate synthetic turf in high-traffic areas where durability and availability are critical. Construction took roughly two months. The first Major League Cricket match followed shortly after. With cricket returning to the Olympic Games at LA28, venues built for intensive, year-round use are becoming a practical requirement across the country. A home for the Los Angeles Knight Riders.
