What separates healthcare AI that gets adopted from healthcare AI that gets abandoned? We studied how consumers interact with AI across industries and discovered that nearly half of those surveyed use AI only as a starting point for healthcare decisions. 16% avoid it altogether. That’s because the stakes of a bad AI experience in healthcare are much higher than a broken checkout flow or a failed recommendation. The healthcare organizations that are winning the moments that matter are those that treat trust as a design requirement from day one, embedding transparency, explainability and human escalation paths throughout the full AI development lifecycle.
