The first stop of the Salsa tour, the 16th annual TD Salsa at Blue Mountain brought together music, dance, and community against the backdrop of one of Ontario’s signature summer destinations, the Blue Mountain Village Association! Festival ambassadors Jesús Daniel Bustamante Holguín and Andrea Palacio Gonzalez captured the energy on site, speaking with María Camila Cepeda Rojas, Director of Salsa & Sabor | Colombian Dance Academy; Omar Valdes, Manager at Vilore Foods Company Inc / La Costeña Canada; Ana Graciano, vocalist and timbalist with Cumbia Power; and attendees throughout the weekend, highlighting the event’s role as both a cultural gathering and a kickoff moment for the broader Salsa in Toronto summer series.
