Lenzing ushers in a new era in protective wear Lenzing Group has introduced its next-generation three-tier fiber portfolio for protective wear, combining safety, comfort and sustainability within a single integrated system. The new “Lenzing Solutions for Protective Wear” portfolio brings together LENZING™ FR and TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers for the first time, offering tailored solutions for different risk levels across industries such as firefighting, military, utilities, metalworking and welding. Independent tests show that fabrics containing LENZING™ FR fibers can reduce heat stress by up to 29% compared to conventional FR-treated fabrics, helping improve wearer comfort and long-term performance.
