Often, it begins with a single personal experience, a shared perspective, or a transformative moment that shifts how we view the world. In the buildup to TEDxBocconiUMumbai, we took a moment to sit down with our brilliant faculty and leadership team at SDA Bocconi Asia Center to uncover the stories, books, and insights that have shaped their individual journeys. Through a series of candid conversations, we delved into the profound moments that spark real personal growth. Leonardo Etro (Associate Dean) shared a deeply personal look into how moving to India completely transformed his life trajectory, while Ankita Dhanesha (Manager CDS) highlighted the life changing impact of small, compounding routines as inspired by Atomic Habits. We also gained immense perspective from Santosh Joshi (SKJ) (Deputy Associate Director CDS) as he spoke on his proud achievement of publishing a fiction book on responsible AI, followed by Matteo Vizzaccaro, PhD (Deputy Director of Finance), who emphasized the value of diving into practical, real-world professional experiences outside of academics. These diverse reflections serve as a powerful reminder that inspiration is not abstract it is lived, practiced, and found all around us.
