Should you post on LinkedIn? The New York Times had an article about LinkedIn today that highlighted the fact the platform is encouraging creators and influencers who are paid to post more content. Generally I think that is a bad idea because usually that kind of content is promotional and less valuable. It doesn't mean however that I intend to post less. LinkedIn remains the No 1 site where people - including possible employers - look you up. For that reason alone it's beneficial to keep the world appraised of what you are doing. And I think it's valuable to do that even if the engagement is less than you think it should be. Because it's not the number of clicks you get that matters. Its the quality.
