If you work in L&D and feel like you never have enough time to be strategic, this is for you. Request comes in. You respond. Another request. Another training. And before you know it, the whole week is gone. I see so many brilliant L&D professionals stuck in reaction mode and then wondering why they are not being seen as strategic. The hard truth? You cannot lead if you only have time to react. Sometimes the shift is not working harder. It is asking better questions, setting better boundaries, and spending more time on the work that actually moves the business forward.
