🌍 What if schools could become a driving force for climate action? Between 2021 and 2025, Instituto Superior Técnico took part in the European project ´Ecf4clim – A European Competence Framework for a Low Carbon Economy and Sustainability through Education`, an initiative funded by the European Commission to embed sustainability into the daily life of schools and universities. In Portugal, Marta Almeida, Tiago Faria and Joana Lage, researchers at the C2TN - Centro de Ciências e Tecnologias Nucleares of Técnico, developed and validated methodologies, digital tools and participatory approaches that engaged students, teachers and educational communities in designing practical sustainability solutions. 📰According to HORIZON: The EU Research & Innovation Magazine, the project mobilised entire educational communities to develop sustainability solutions tailored to local challenges.
