CopilotKit (Techstars 2023), a startup building the open standard for how AI agents communicate with software, has raised $27M. Founded by brothers Atai Barkai and Uli Barkai, CopilotKit created AG-UI (Agent-User Interaction) - a protocol that lets AI agents generate interactive charts, update dashboards, and take actions inside existing applications. 🤖 Companies including Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Oracle have adopted the protocol, and more than half of the Fortune 500 use its tools. CopilotKit's core technology is open source, with more than 40,000 GitHub stars and millions of installs per week. The $27M raise, comprising a $20M Series A and a $7M seed round, was led by Glilot Capital, NFX, and SignalFire.
