The challenges facing modern agri-food systems are deeply interconnected, requiring a swift transition from broad discussions to concrete decisions. TechnoServe India recently hosted a closed-door dialogue, "Growing Forward: Decisions That Could Define the Future of Agri-Food Systems," in New Delhi. The convening brought together leaders from 56 organizations across government, corporates, development finance, and civil society to build collaborative pathways for the sector. Key focus areas from the discussions included: • Value chain resilience: Transforming sustainable sourcing into a core business strategy. • Information access: Deploying localized technologies to support smallholder farmers. • Market scaling: Expanding export opportunities for India’s dairy sector, which supports 80 million farmers.
