Making Art at the Technion For the first time, the Technion hosted Arts, Science and Technology Week, bringing together leading Israeli artists, writers, and cultural figures with researchers, faculty members, and students from across the campus. Through lectures, performances, and workshops, the event explored the connections between artistic creativity, scientific inquiry, and technological innovation, creating a unique space for interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration. Featured guests included acclaimed author Etgar Keret, poet Ronny Someck, filmmaker Ari Folman, choreographer Yasmeen Godder, the Broken Fingaz collective, and rapper Cohen. Together with the Technion community, they encouraged curiosity, challenged disciplinary boundaries, and demonstrated how diverse perspectives can inspire new ways of thinking. Led by the Technion's Department of Humanities and Arts, the initiative highlighted the important role of the arts within a leading science and technology university as a catalyst for creativity, innovation, and meaningful dialogue.
