A new analysis from HBS Economics quantifies what we have long known at DTU: engineers contribute real, measurable value to society. “The value is created in important work in Danish industry and business, across sectors such as energy, IT and security. Areas of importance for Denmark’s welfare, competitiveness, and security,” says President Anders Overgaard Bjarklev. At the same time, the analysis underscores a growing challenge: The demand for engineering talent continues to outpace supply. We need more engineers.
