The sessions of the night reflect exactly that: real teams, real decisions, real trade-offs. Here's how the evening unfolds: 🚪 Doors open at 4pm at the Number Five Foundation in Den Haag. Two short sessions from two of our own: Erwin Buckers — Co-founder of Chainels (Rotterdam), the tenant-experience and community platform used across European real estate. His talk, Running a software company on AI, looks at how an established SaaS team rebuilds its operating model around AI. Ozgun Erdogan — Founder and co-CEO of Ubicloud (San Francisco, YC W24), building the open-source alternative to AWS. Previously co-founder and CTO of Citus Data, acquired by Microsoft. His talk, Open-source models in production — and keeping token spend in check, covers how open-source models stack up against frontier APIs, plus practical strategy for controlling cost and infrastructure spend. Then an AMA with members (incl. Clare Jones from Polarsteps) on the insights they brought back from the city trips — San Francisco and London — and how they're using them to build companies worth competing globally.
