š The future of media workflows was on full display at NTS Geneva this week. Techex's Russell Trafford-Jones and David Mitchinson joined industry leaders at the Network Technology Seminar, where discussions focused on the rapid progress being made towards software-defined, interoperable media operations. The Dynamic Media Facility (DMF) was a major focus, with real-world examples showing how these technologies are already being deployed during the Olympic Games and testing the latest MXL release v1.1.0 beta 1. Techex is proud to be actively participating in creating the DMF vision both actively on the MXL project but also as part of the JT-DMF Synchronisation Workgroup on which Russell serves as Joint Chair. For us, DMF is important because we believe that media organisations should be free to choose the infrastructure that works for them, whether that's hardware, software, or a combination of both. š” The momentum behind open standards and interoperable workflows is growing quickly, and MXL is helping make that future possible.
