What does it actually take to build #community not just online, but in place-based spaces? At Tech4Good South West we bring together people around #techforgood across the region and for a long time that mostly happened online or at one-off events. But there's something truly magical that happens when you create the opportunity for people from different sectors, with different skills and experiences to take time to be alongside each other - charities, businesses, social enterprises, freelancers - in the same physical space in their day to day work. Serendipity. Conversations that would never otherwise happen. Patch opening their new home for work and community in Gloucester has given us another place to grow our community rooted in physical space in Gloucestershire. Annie Legge’s conversation with Patch founder Freddie Fforde explores why spaces like this matter so much, what Patch actually is, and how you measure connection when the best evidence is always a story. It's a conversation that gets to the heart of what we're trying to do in the South West and why place, people and community matter. 🎧 New episode of Tech for Good Voices is out now - link also in comments. #Tech4GoodVoices #PatchSpaces #CommunityBuilding #Gloucester #WorkNearHome #SouthWest #TechForGood https://lnkd.in/eqaiT7cF
