++ DRC Signs Landmark Deal for First “Made in Belgium” Commercial Earth Observation Satellite ++ SPACEBEL has announced the signing of a landmark contract to develop the first “Made in Belgium” commercial Earth observation satellite for the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The agreement was officially concluded on June 16, 2026, in Kinshasa with the DRC’s Ministry of Higher Education, Universities, Scientific Research and Innovation. The project involves the delivery of a 250 kg Earth observation satellite named RDC-SAT.
