Today was Day 2 of Strider Summit, our annual client conference! Highlights from Day 2 included: ▪ A conversation, led by Strider President and Co-Founder Eric Levesque, with former Prime Minister of Moldova Natalia Gavrilița about what it means to lead through active hybrid warfare—and the decisions, intelligence, and resolve required to navigate nation-state threats at the highest levels. ▪ A presentation from Strider’s Intelligence team highlighting how organizations can anticipate emerging economic security regulations and identify relationship-based risks before they become operational challenges. ▪ Strider COO & General Counsel Robert B. Lamb led a discussion with David Vigneault (Strider Chief Intelligence officer and former Director of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service), Caroline Bellamy (Strider Executive Director and former UK Ministry of Defense Chief AI and Data Officer and Deputy CIO), and Dr. Andreas Schwab (European Parliament Member) about global economic security practices. ▪ A presentation about how universities are operationalizing research security. ▪ Closing words from COO and Co-Founder Eric Levesque about Strider’s commitment to building this community of economic security leaders. Industry, government, and academia collectively make up the front line of this global battle for advantage. It is going to take an all-of-society approach to effectively secure the cutting-edge technology and innovation from countries, like the PRC, that will do whatever it takes to obtain it.
