It is no longer just governments being targeted by countries like the PRC and Russia to steal technology and innovation to gain unfair advantage. Companies of all sizes—from start-ups to large enterprises—are directly being targeted by the intelligence and national security apparatuses of adversarial nation-states. Government, industry, and academic leaders must come together to secure the technologies and sectors that are critical to economic resilience and national security. During the Trusted Technologies for Democracies U.S.-Italy Dialogue Strider COO and General Counsel Robert B. Lamb spoke on a panel titled “Resilience, Deterrence, and Democratic Infrastructure" with fellow panelists Dmitri Alperovitch (Chairman, Silverado Policy Accelerator), Thomas Lind (Senior Advisor, Office of the National Cyber Director), and Alessandro Armando (SERICS). At Strider, we deliver strategic intelligence to global organizations that illuminate the strategies of adversarial nation-states so leaders can see the full picture and make informed decisions in a rapidly shifting geopolitical landscape. Thank you to the event hosts, the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue the Embassy of Italy in the US, for bringing together this group of leaders for important dialogue on ways to strengthen allied innovation and ensure technology advances freedom.
