In Ottawa, we convened a dialogue on economic security in partnership with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) | Service canadien du renseignement de sécurité (SCRS) and Australian government. The discussion brought together senior leaders from government, industry, and academia to examine a shared challenge: how open, globally engaged countries like Canada and Australia can continue to benefit from international commerce and research while protecting against the growing risk of exploitation by state actors. Strider’s Chief Intelligence Officer David Vigneault and Canadian Country Manager Trevor J. Neiman hosted an exceptional group of speakers, including Daniel Rogers, Director of CSIS; Her Excellency Kate Logan, Australia's High Commissioner to Canada; and Professor James Curran of the University of Sydney.
