We had a fantastic June celebrating Pride 🌈 Here's what we've been up to... First, we explored the Rainbow Map and how the UK's score has changed over time compared with other countries across Europe, examining the legal rights of LGBTI+ people over the last decade. Next, we had the pleasure of welcoming back Ian Timbrell from More Than Flags And Rainbows, who discussed how queer identities and language change over time using examples from HBO's show Pose. More Than Flags and Rainbows is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to make all schools, colleges and communities more inclusive spaces. Finally, we closed the month with a Pride quiz and party across our offices, sharing our local LGBTQ+ heroes (link below) and highlighting LGBTQ+ friendly areas and activities in our local areas.
