Earlier this week, a parliamentary committee session took place to discuss the child poverty strategy. It was great to see Mark Sewards MP and Teach First Ambassador be part of this. Mark cited our recommendation (which was submitted as part of an ongoing inquiry run by the Education Select Committee) to include targets relating to educational outcomes, when determining the progress on the Child Poverty Strategy. Mark asked in the session whether targets relating to educational outcomes should be used to monitor progress on the Child Poverty Strategy.
