A few friends have sent me a recent article from The New York Times asking: "Is LinkedIn entering its post-cringe era?" Lowkey, yes… and I think it means those of us who've been lurking (guilty!) may not be able to anymore. Some of what I'm seeing in the LinkedIn data I've been digging into: 📈 Entrepreneurship on the platform is surging (nearly +70% year-over-year) 🤳 More than 6 in 10 entrepreneurs also identify as content creators 👀 People who post weekly see up to 4x more profile views on average — and commenting drives 2.5x more To me, this suggests more professionals need to start thinking like creators — not because everyone needs to become an influencer, but because visibility, trust and reputation increasingly shape opportunity. So I'm curious: What do you wish you knew sooner about creating on LinkedIn? And if you were starting from scratch today, how would you approach your first 10 posts? I'm working on a special edition of my newsletter, #TheWorkShift, about the state of content creation on LinkedIn and would love to include hard-earned lessons from people who've climbed cringe mountain. Tell me your thoughts in the comments👇
