This World Environment Day, Tata Power-DDL’s flagship initiative, Project ‘Suryansh,’ achieved a significant milestone by securing over 7,000 rooftop solar registrations in FY 2026-27, taking cumulative applications under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana beyond 27,000 across North Delhi. Through more than 50 awareness camps, extensive door-to-door outreach, and a robust multimedia campaign, Tata Power-DDL engaged over 10,000 citizens, making rooftop solar adoption more accessible, convenient, and citizen-centric. The outreach was amplified through bi-weekly social media posts, customized digital advertising, bilingual WhatsApp and SMS campaigns, consumer emailers, prime-time radio jingles, utility bill messaging, unipole advertisements, and Delhi Metro train branding with QR code integration. As India’s rooftop solar mission gains momentum, Project Suryansh has emerged as a replicable model that bridges policy with effective last-mile execution. Supporting the vision of Viksit Delhi and a net-zero future, the initiative reflects growing public participation in government-led renewable energy programmes. IT reinforces Tata Power-DDL’s commitment to accelerating the adoption of clean, affordable, and sustainable energy for every household. #RooftopSolar #TataPowerDDL #ProjectSuryansh #WorldEnvironmentDay
