Stepping into my current role as a Program Manager in 2025 marked a significant milestone, one that reflects an evolution from hands-on technical execution to driving strategic program leadership. I began my career focusing on core manufacturing systems and automation, where I built a strong technical foundation and developed a structured problem-solving mindset. Working closely with operational environments allowed me to understand complexities at the ground level, equipping me with the clarity needed to approach challenges with precision and confidence. As my career progressed, I transitioned into roles that demanded broader ownership, including solution design and program management. One of the most defining phases of my journey was managing a complex transformation initiative. The challenge lay in balancing multiple moving parts—timelines, stakeholder expectations, and seamless integration within existing ecosystems. These experiences reinforced a key lesson for me: leadership goes beyond delivering results. It is about enabling people, simplifying complexity, and fostering alignment. I learned the importance of decisive thinking, execution discipline, and building trust. The guidance and influence of strong role models like Adiya Chikodi further shaped my leadership style, particularly in strategic thinking, ownership, and maintaining a strong focus on customer value. While there are demanding phases during critical deliveries, the environment consistently promotes accountability and recognizes contributions, creating a strong sense of motivation and engagement.
