I'm a bit late to the party, but I wanted to take a moment to reflect on a momentous few years of teaching at Otago Polytechnic. At the March graduation, I was able to attend a very special Te Rau o Tītapu, Otago Polytechnic’s Māori Pre-Graduation Ceremony, cross the stage to accept my L5 Adult Tertiary Teaching qualification, and cheer on an amazing group of Communication Design graduates. On the way, I got this snap (taken by the awesome Marketing team I used to work with) with my good friend and mentor, Denise Narciso. I've been so lucky to have such a wonderful person to mentor and guide me in this role. It makes such a difference. Aroha to you, and ka pai to all the graduates and people who support them!
