Purpose doesn't end when service does. At Target, belonging comes to life through the people and communities that support one another every day. For Jason F., Engineering and Facilities Senior Operations Manager in Indianapolis, one of the most meaningful parts of his 15-year Target journey has been his involvement with the Military Belonging Community (MBC). "The culture has been the defining force behind my growth," Jason shared. "My journey here has been shaped by development, mentorship, and a level of care that is truly unmatched." As a veteran, Jason understands firsthand the challenges many service members face when transitioning from military life to the civilian workforce. Through the MBC, he found a community of team members who share their experiences, offer support and create opportunities to continue serving others. "The MBC provides a safe, supportive environment filled with people who understand that journey," he said. "The conversations, mentorship, and camaraderie within this community help make that transition easier for so many." The Military Belonging Community welcomes all team members and extends its impact beyond Target through volunteer events, support for military families and care packages sent to service members overseas. For Jason, bringing those efforts into his building and local community has reignited a sense of purpose. That impact is also being felt across his team. Through spirit weeks, holiday celebrations and opportunities for team members to come together, Jason has seen how belonging creates stronger connections and a more engaged workplace. Looking ahead, he is optimistic about the future. "The pride, connection, and energy coming out of the MBC are not only sustainable, they're contagious," Jason said. We're grateful for leaders like Jason who help create meaningful connections and make Target a place where team members can grow, belong and make an impact together. #TargetCareers #LifeAtTarget #VeteransAtTarget #TeamTarget
