When we first meet someone, our efforts are to make an everlasting impression. Similar is the case with the apps. The first contact with an app should leave a positive effect on users. Onboarding is a science behind how users react to the app upon their first-time use. Onboarding screens brief the users about the navigation and features of the app. 1. The progressive approach is used to show new information to the users as they navigate within the app. 2. In the Action-Oriented approach, users need to complete certain steps in order for the app to feed them with useful information. 3. The Advantage-Oriented approach is used when you want users to know how this app can impart values into the user’s life. 4. Features List Approach enlist the features i.e what the app does, it includes visuals and text in the app onboarding screens.
