A large share of the compressed air a typical plant produces never reaches the application that paid for it. It leaks out before it gets there. In poorly maintained systems, the loss is even higher. It is one of the most common, and most overlooked, sources of wasted energy on the factory floor. Three things make leak rates worse than they need to be. Couplings and quick-disconnects that are rarely on a scheduled walk. Pressure drop hidden by oversized compressors quietly making up the difference. A culture where โ€œthe air keeps comingโ€ is treated as proof that the system is healthy. A short ultrasonic leak survey, twice a year, usually pays for itself before the technician has finished the loop. It is the cheapest energy project most plants have never run. ๐—™๐—ผ๐—น๐—น๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ Tamturbo ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—œ๐—ป ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ for more insights on oil-free compressed air. #maintenance #reliability #energyefficiency #compressedair #manufacturing
