✨Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our UNINOVIS colleagues from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord to TAMK for a full day of dialogue, discovery and shared learning. The morning brought together TAMK leadership and unit representatives for an open, interactive discussion on our role within UNINOVIS - Data for L.I.F.E. University Alliance — sharing expectations, ideas and future directions in a genuinely conversational setting.💡 We then moved from strategy to practice with a showcase of TAMK’s learning and RDI environments including 🔹RestoLab: Where students design, test and deliver real service experiences together with industry partners. 🔹Field Lab: A hands-on space for experimenting with data, technology and new ideas in real-world conditions. 🔹WellTech Lab: Where wellbeing meets technology to co-create and test solutions for future health and care. In the afternoon, discussions continued within the UNINOVIS core group and local coordination team, focusing on practical questions on how we work together, how roles evolve, and what we should prioritize next. The wider TAMK community then joined for an open session on UNINOVIS today and tomorrow, featuring keynote insights, lively discussion, and concrete examples of what’s already happening from mobility opportunities to digital platforms and well-tech-oriented innovations.🔬 We wrapped up the day by stepping into TAMK’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, visiting Proakatemia and HUBS spaces where student-driven innovation and experimentation truly come to life. A big thank you to all participants for making the day so engaging and insightful. We are especially grateful to UNINOVIS General Coordinator Rudward (Rudy) Akueson along with Sandra Carlier and Alexandra Oliveira Salgado for taking the time to visit us in Tampere. This is how collaboration truly grows — through meeting, seeing, questioning and co-creating together.🤝 Tiina Koskiranta, Kaisa Kokko, Eeva Heikkilä, Pauliina Mansikkamäki, Pirita Ihamäki PhD., M.Sc., Mikko Sävilahti, Kirsi Popova #UNINOVIS #TAMK #DataForLife #EuropeanUniversity #RDI #Education
