Today, on World Sickle Cell Day, we were honored to partner with Emile’s Smile Sickle Cell Foundation and the Regional Hospital Bamenda, to raise awareness about sickle cell disease and the power of prevention. Every child deserves the best possible start in life. Through genetic screening, education, during preconception care, individuals and couples can make informed reproductive health decisions and help reduce the burden of sickle cell disease in our communities. Together, we are promoting knowledge, encouraging screening, and inspiring action—because prevention starts before pregnancy, and awareness saves lives.
