On this World Menstrual Hygiene Day, Talk Pregnancy With Dr Noella (TPWDN) joined Tosi's Mother and Child Health Foundation (TMCH) and HEALTHi FIRSTš„ in organizing the Youth and Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Conference under the theme: āBeyond Menstrual Hygiene: Promoting Holistic Adolescent Health.ā The conference brought together over 50 young participants for impactful discussions on menstrual hygiene management, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, mental wellbeing, consent, peer pressure, STI prevention, teenage pregnancy, and youth empowerment. A major highlight was the practical demonstration of menstrual cups and menstrual cycle tracking using cycle beads, helping participants better understand their bodies and make informed health decisions. The sessions also emphasized the importance of mental health, bodily autonomy, healthy relationships, and access to youth-friendly services. At Talk Pregnancy with Dr Noella, we believe menstrual health is more than hygiene it is dignity, education, empowerment, and a pathway to healthier futures for adolescents and young people. Together, we continue to advocate for informed choices, safe spaces, and holistic reproductive health education for every young person.
