Sensitization backed by immediate action is the true measure of impact in health campaigns. We are delighted to see that following the commemoration of World Sickle Cell Day, the Regional Hospital has taken the initiative to offer free sickle cell screening from June 23rd to June 30th. This demonstrates the importance of translating awareness into concrete action, ensuring that communities not only receive information but also gain access to essential preventive health services. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the dedicated team at Emelie Smile Sickle Cell Foundation, whose commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease continues to make a meaningful difference. Together, we can strengthen awareness, promote early diagnosis, and improve outcomes for people living with sickle cell disease. Thanks to FactLine Media for putting the event together: https://lnkd.in/e4j6cUAw APCARE Global HealthTech , Cameroon Young Physicians Network , UNDP , Tadamon - CSO Empowerment , FIGO (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics) , Open Dreams Educational NGO #WorldSickleCellDay #SickleCellAwareness #HealthPromotion #PublicHealth #ScreeningSavesLives #CommunityHealth #EmelieSmileSickleCellFoundation #PartnershipForHealth #PreventiveHealthcare
