Maintaining the health and function of their transplanted organ is critical to quality of life for people living with a kidney transplant. In some cases, antibody-mediated rejection (AMR) may occur when the immune system recognizes the transplant as foreign and produces donor-specific antibodies that attack the transplanted kidney. There are currently no approved treatments specifically for AMR, but ongoing research is helping us better understand the condition and the challenges transplant recipients may face. Weโ€™re conducting a Phase 2 clinical study to evaluate an investigational medicine in people with AMR following kidney transplant. Clinical trials depend on the participation of volunteers and are a key part of advancing scientific knowledge in transplant medicine. Learn more about our study: https://lnkd.in/e2_HhkVf
