CEO-elect Julie Kim and President of Research and Development Andy Plump were very pleased to host Shigeo Yamada, Japanese Ambassador to the United States, and Seiichiro Takahashi, Consul General of Japan in Boston, at Takeda’s research labs in Cambridge, MA.  Scientific leaders provided detailed presentations on how the company is embedding artificial intelligence and automation across our discovery research organization in Shonan, Japan and Cambridge to help deliver medicines to patients faster and with greater confidence.
