A surreal few weeks, finally putting words to it! I successfully defended my PhD dissertation, the culmination of years of work on bridging the rural digital divide with the wireless systems of the next decade. I am also honored to be named a recipient of the Iowa State University Research Excellence Award, which recognizes research accomplishments in the top 10% at ISU. Endless gratitude to my advisors, my committee, collaborators, and family. None of this happens alone. The dissertation is done, but the work is just getting started.
