Scaling advanced chemical recycling technology from a successful pilot to a commercial plant isn't just about building a bigger version. Complex fluid dynamics at scale need to be considered. At SYNOVA, we aren’t leaving that to theory.   We’ve been collaborating with Particulate Solid Research, Inc. (PSRI) to thoroughly de-risk our reactor design. This video shows our hydrodynamic test reactor (15 meters long), which matches the physical height of our commercial-scale reactor. By blasting over 3,000 m³/h of air through the system (that’s a shipping container of air per minute) to fluidise and circulate sand, we are directly mapping and validating the fluidisation and hydrodynamic behaviour required for continuous, high-efficiency waste cracking in our Reactor
