🚢🛢️ Synhelion delivers first symbolic barrel of solar fuel to Lake Lucerne Navigation Company We’re excited to announce that we’ve delivered our first barrel of solar diesel to Schifffahrtsgesellschaft des Vierwaldstättersees (SGV) AG / Lake Lucerne Navigation Company. The diesel was used to fuel the historic steamboat Gallia, making SGV the world’s first shipping company to use Synhelion’s solar fuel. The fuel was produced at DAWN, our industrial-scale production facility in Germany, which has been successfully producing solar fuels since late summer 2024. The plant provides valuable insights that support the rapid scale-up of our technology. This milestone showcases the relevance and potential of renewable fuels to enable net-zero transportation – without the need for engine or infrastructure modifications. Together with our pioneering customer SGV, we’re taking another step toward a more sustainable future.
