If you ever get the chance to attend the SIFMA Securities Industry Institute (SII) at Wharton Business School — say yes. Immediately. šŸŽ“ Just wrapped up Year 1 and what an experience it was. As a Year 1 student representing DTCC, I came in curious. I'm leaving with a sharper mind, a broader network, and lessons I won't forget. Here's what hit hardest: šŸ¤– Treat AI as a Teammate Don't just use AI — talk to it. Bring it into your thinking. Be explicit about what you need. Be reflective about what it gives back. When you show up to AI the way you would a trusted colleague — with context, intention, and an open mind — the collaboration becomes something genuinely powerful. That mindset shift alone was worth the week. šŸ” Microinequities & Magic Words The small moments matter most. Unconscious behaviors that exclude are everywhere — but so is the power to counter them. Magic words: intentional, simple phrases that acknowledge, validate, and include. Culture isn't built in boardrooms. It's built in everyday moments. šŸ’› The Platinum Rule The Golden Rule is a starting point. The Platinum Rule is the standard: treat people how THEY want to be treated. Master this and you'll transform how you lead, connect, and collaborate. And the people? Irreplaceable. Reconnecting with trusted colleagues and friends from across the industry, meeting remarkable new ones, and experiencing this alongside fellow DTCC colleagues made it that much more meaningful. A sincere thank you to DTCC — for investing in my development and for building a culture where learning is not a perk, but a priority. That means everything. Mind sharp. Energy high. Ready for Year 2. šŸš€ #SIFMA #SII #Wharton #DTCC #Leadership #Inclusion #AIInTheWorkplace #PlatinumRule #MicroInequalities #ProfessionalDevelopment #FinanceLeaders #ContinuousLearning Dan Cohen Marisol Collazo Sam North Tracey Stokes Jonathan Zammit Kate Delp Luca Cappelletti Dan Lachaga Warren Rubin Adam Wiseman Beven Jacob Jason Conn Jason Kreitsch Rahul Desai Patrick Spellman Debra Genovese Bart Coleman Claire Lough Andrea Fenner Elodie Pinaud Keiron Ramoutar, MBA, PMP Aimee T.
