Carl T. A. Johnk (1919-2015)- a professor of Engineering at University of Colorado Denver. He taught us 3 courses of ElectroMagentic Feilds at the college of engineering. Dr. Johnk was born in 1919 in Germany 🇩🇪 And migrated to the USA in 1924 which he calls “a lucky accident” since that was before the World War II. He served in the US Navy as chief ordinance officer. He taught us ElectroMagnetic Feild courses in CU Denver using the book he authored himself on the subject. Thanks to his brilliant teachings, I aced all of his courses (As). He was instrumental in delivering/lecturing those courses. Having led a fulfilling life, he passed in 2015 and is now survived by his son Bob Johnk and grandson Kevin Johnk, P.E. who are also brilliant engineers and lecturers in their fields. Here are some of my photo memories of the legend Dr. Carl! (RIP)
