What does a sustainable future look like? Last week, it took the form of 60 students, parents, and teachers coming together with one shared ambition: to make a real difference. From bold student initiatives to meaningful global partnerships, sustainability is a core value at Swiss International Scientific School Dubai. It’s student-led, lived, and happening every day. The virtual visit we recently held showcased a year of action, creativity, and impact – all part of our journey toward the Social Impact Silver Accreditation, an award that recognises schools for their contributions to sustainability, community engagement, and positive social change. That accreditation is important, but even more meaningful is the mindset of our entire school community. To care, to act, and to lead. And with the support of Nord Anglia Education and UNICEF, we’re not only teaching sustainability; we’re shaping a generation that insists on it. Thank you to everyone who’s played a part.
