As we mark our 14th year of partnership with Art Basel Hong Kong, the Swire Properties VIP Lounge returns with “Into the Wild”, conceived by Oscar-nominated production designer, costume designer and film editor William Chang. Set against the sweeping views of Victoria Harbour, the lounge draws inspiration from the resilience of native Chinese silvergrass. Around 4,000 handcrafted blades in vivid blue, red and mirrored finishes create an immersive landscape of colour, light and reflection that shifts throughout the day. More than a design statement, the space also hosts our Dialogue Series, bringing together leading voices from art and design to exchange ideas and perspectives.
