As part of our continued National Reconciliation Week celebrations, our Wantirna campus came together for a day of reflection.   Professor John Evans, Pro Vice-Chancellor Indigenous Engagement, and bryan ornsby, Director of Trades and Engineering Technologies, spoke about reconciliation and highlighted this year’s theme, ‘All In’, encouraging everyone to be part of the journey to a more equitable future. Nikki Madgwick, VET Indigenous Officer at the Moondani Toombadool Centre, shared a powerful, personal poem reflecting on her lived experiences. The day concluded with an Indigenous art workshop led by Swinburne alum Katie Bugden, where participants explored the meanings behind Indigenous art and created their own work.
