𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐩 | 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 What does a career in international affairs actually look like, and how do you get there? These were some of the key questions explored as a large group of curious and driven students and young professionals came together for an inspiring evening with 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬. The event featured a fireside conversation with Helena Reitberger, Representative, and Johan Henriksson, Deputy Representative, from the 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐢. Through their honest reflections and personal stories, participants gained valuable insights into both the everyday realities and different pathways into international affairs. Beyond understanding the role itself, the discussion also explored how to approach a career in the field, what qualities are valued, and the many different ways to get there. Students had the opportunity to ask the questions they have always wanted to ask, making the session open, engaging and fun.
