As Swedish companies continue to navigate a complex global environment, this yearโs report offers valuable insights into how Swedish businesses view Taiwan as a market. Some key findings include: โ 84% of Swedish companies reported profitability in 2025 โ 48% describe Taiwanโs current business climate as good or very good โ 51% expect turnover to increase over the coming 12 months โ 44% plan to increase their investments in Taiwan โ 84% say the Swedish brand contributes positively to their business The findings reflect continued confidence in Taiwan, particularly in areas such as advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, industrial technology, healthcare, digitalisation, AI and the green transition. At the same time, the report also highlights areas where further improvements would strengthen Taiwanโs competitiveness, including access to specialist talent, licensing and permit processes, technical regulations, and reliable and sustainable energy. SwedCham Taipei is pleased to have contributed to this important Team Sweden project. We extend our sincere thanks to Martin Vercouter and Polin Chou at Business Sweden Asia-Pacific, who led the project, and to the Swedish Representative Helena Reitberger for the great collaboration. We also warmly thank all participating Swedish companies for sharing their valuable insights.
